Upholstery Fabrics: Exquisite, durable and designed with designers in mind. Our philosophy expands beyond simply creating beautiful fabrics. Our belief is that textiles should be constructed with beauty and performance characteristics, developing pieces that are practical while maintaining the same luxurious quality you have become accustomed to. Our breadth of upholstery textiles includes residential, hospitality and contract fabrics that exceed over 50,000 double rubs, developed to withstand demanding environments.
Performance Fabrics: For healthcare facilities, restaurants, hotels, or other interiors where stain and spill resistance are required, Brentano offers a variety of textile patterns with Crypton and Nanotex and GreenShield finishes.
Drapery/Sheers: Brentano’s window treatments are designed to reflect the elegance of various fiber qualities. Staying true to our belief of beauty and performance, among our draperies are double width designs in a wide range of colors that inherently pass the NFPA 701 fire code. Ever versatile, Brentano produces outdoor sheers, wool sheers and washable draperies that can withstand commercial temperature standards.
Faux Leather: Brentano developed a series of faux leather fabrics, all with stunning surface quality and superior physical properties. Animal and environmentally friendly, waterproof with an elegant luster, and available in an endless variety of textures and designs. Often mistaken as real leathers, Brentano faux leathers have the added benefits of being affordable, easy to care for, and a greener alternative to both vinyl and leather.
Outdoor Fabrics: Nature challenges our indoor/outdoor fabrics to resist ultraviolet disintegration, remain colorfast despite prolonged exposure to the sun, withstand condensation and humidity, and resist the growth of bacteria and fungi. Beautiful and versatile, Brentano’s outdoor textiles include upholstery, faux leather, raffia weave and sheer fabrics.
Eco-Fabrics: The eco-fabrics include our high performance and high quality eco-friendly faux leathers, as well as beautiful upholstery patterns and contract textiles — overall displaying an uncommon variety of design and versatility available in environmentally-conscious textiles. The Brentano Green fabric label demonstrates our commitment to pursuing green mindfulness while designing textiles with beauty + performance in mind. In order to qualify for the Brentano Green label, our fabrics must comply with green standards in at least two of the following three categories: raw material, process, and facility and social responsibility.
Studio Collection: Features textiles that are not only smart and durable but are also an excellent value. Our designers have created rich color palettes and produced a handsome and tactile collection of textiles at an affordable cost to you. With a focus on versatile anchor fabrics, these textiles are suitable for the majority of projects, whether they be residential, hospitality or contract. The fabrics within our Studio program highlight beautiful plains and textures that can serve to highlight feature patterns or stand alone as a serene focal point in any environment.
